Zappies

Zappies is a fast-growing and innovative toy distributor and importer, based in West Sussex. They wanted a site that would make it easy for retailers to find products they are interested in from the thousands in stock. The site is automatically updated from stock data held in a Sage 50 database.

The site is built with Drupal 7. It uses Apache Solr Search for the facetted search facilities, and Drupal Commerce for the products and ordering. Custom permissions mean that the wholesale prices and other product details are only visible to trade customers who have logged in.

Klibreck Consulting

This site was built in close consultation with the client, who had a clear idea of the required "feel" and colour scheme for the site, but was flexible in terms of the detailed layout and design. Costs were kept low by using a standard Drupal theme with only minimal changes to the style.
